Learning is our core business at Macgregor, for students and teachers, alike. Our highly professional staff are involved in ongoing, job-embedded professional learning, including Action Research projects, on a daily basis. Our regular team meetings and whole school development sessions, keep us abreast with cutting edge practice, teaching and learning strategies.
Learning is made visible at our school. All students are aware of what they are learning, how they are going with it and what they can do to improve their outcomes. There is no 'secret teachers business' at Macgregor, the students are taught to take the lead in their own learning and to become assessment-capable learners.
