Macgregor Primary School offers curriculum and pedagogy that enhances wellbeing, and equips students with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and strategies to understand and manage themselves and their relationships. This is achieved by:
- Providing whole school curriculum programs across all learning areas with a focus on the General Capabilities. This includes a social emotional learning program and STEAM program
- Ensuring strategies are in place to allow for differentiation in teaching and learning. These strategies form an important part of teachers' planning
- Allowing the children to have regular access to their progress data through goal setting and teacher conferencing. This allows them to reflect on their learning regularly
- Providing a range of extra-curricular activities for students like ICAS, Art Show, Gala Days, Coding Club, Chess Club, School camps and extension programs.
